Stereo and MFD

Post by Wooker »

Hi all newbie here so be gentle on me haha. I’ve recently bought a 2009 2.0 tsi dsg and to say I’m happy is an understatement, The only issue I had was the stereo didn’t have Bluetooth or DAB so I’ve managed to buy and fit a Kenwood dnx521dab however I have now lost the use of my steering wheel controls and the audio that’s playing no longer shows in my MFD. I’m hoping some of you with the knowhow can point me in the right direction as to if and how I can solve this problem and also if any of you recommend getting the carista odb2 to do some tweaks like getting the speedo to read in MPH and maybe get the didgital speedo activated if compatible with my car?

I needed a Kenwood can kimun 1 interface for the steering wheel control and information of the climatronic and in the mfd. But that was a dnx525dab. Maybe better ask the shop where you bought it.
