Hi guys, newby to the forum after picking up a 2010 2.0 TSI recently.
However coming into work today through traffic the engine management light flashed a couple of times. It hasn’t stayed on. First time I’ve seen it do that, not noticed anything changed in the driving of the car.
Any thoughts?
Secondly I have noticed that it runs a bit ‘lumpy’ from cold. Almost as if there is a fuel blockage or something. It’s fine when it’s up to temperature and pulls fine. Not sure if it’s linked to the above?
Was going to take it to be plugged into a diagnostic machine to see if anything came up but thought I’d ask you guys first.
Cheers
Ally

Re: Engine management light flash
Could be a faulty Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, 02 Sensor or one of the coilpacks on it's way out.
A scan should point you in the right direction. Until that is done it's pure speculation

Was that what it was? I have had a lot of misfiring problems that had nothing to do with the coilpacks being dodgy!AllyFalkirk wrote:Cheers Bob, misfire on cylinder 1&2. New coil packs ordered .
