Engine cutting out

Hi there people,
So been having problems for a while. I'd be driving normally when car would just cut out and stall... umm ok, turn it back on and continued.. day later happened again, so on. boxing day it wouldnt start at all, error being fuel/rail pressure low. Towed it to VW and they changed the fuel filter all good again, for a day... cut out again while stationery and driving home within 10 minutes...
Anyone else had cut outs? I dont fancy another VW bill in one week..
