Track numbering on RNS510

Picked up a Scirocco with an RNS510 and when using the MDI cable and my iPod Classic, I do not see any track numbering info, as you’d kind of expect. Is there any way to get it to show that the current track is X/XX for that particular album?
NB. I haven’t checked the version info, if that would be relevant. Will do that when I get a chance.
