Engine Oil confusion

I have just bought a 4L tub of Castrol Edge 5W30 and a 1L tub of Castrol Edge 5W30. I am confused because the 4L tub says its LongLife, and the 1L tub says its LongLife III. Both tubs are the same spec VW504 00/507 00. Are both tubs of oil compatible with each other? Thanks.

Yes, they are both compatible.
