Re: Folding mirrors
If you have electrically folding mirrors your mirror switch has 5 positions (L, 0, R, Heat, Fold) and the mirrors have a puddle light on the bottom.
Auto folding on locking is not straightforward on the Scirocco.

Re: Folding mirrors
On the switch if you take "0" as 3 o'clock the fold position is 7 o'clock and heat position is 11 o' clock.

Re: Folding mirrors
Yes, a folded mirror symbol. The switch in that picture doesn't have the fold position, so the car it's from doesn't have them fitted.SciroccoCW wrote:Does fold have a symbol? Mines blank

Re: Folding mirrors
Was interested in retro fitting. Think it might be a bit too much work though >.<

Re: Folding mirrors
Not much work, just screw off the old ones and mount the new ones.
Connectors plugged in and some minor coding.
The worst part is getting the door panels off.
Total job around 2h.

Re: Folding mirrors
The fold icon and puddle lights (mirrors folded) for those curious
Looking to change the bulbs on the puddle lights if anyone knows if that's an easy job or not ?

Re: Folding mirrors
Can you get them to fold in when you turn off the car and fold out when the car is turned on?
