Should work for you as well but do everything at your own risk.

Pls, help me.. I don't know who remove the message "component protection". You have "ODIS Online" ? Can you unlock for me with remote connection?

THanks in advance

@Icedog

It's great to hear that you could make it work!

Icedog wrote:*** UPDATE ***

Okay so the workaround i did was put the stereo unit in my friends Caddy 4th gen with the same type of stereo and remove the component lock then put it back in mine and woop woop! :hyper:

I have talked to some VW dealers, and they told me they could only learn the component protection to a car, that has that 5F address. So far, so good.

But how can they disable the component protection completely? I would like to retrofit a CM too, but I'm afraid that the component protection will pop up again as soon as the device leaves the car that it has been learned to.

Could you maybe provide the steps you went through ODIS? So I could show them to the dealer..

Thanks in advance!

Discover Media is from VCDSWorks ( search Facebook )

also use RNS to DM adapter , Kufatec
RVC is from Carsysthems.pl

for PLA and steering lines ( steering Tunnel ) you need, 1k8 PDC modul
there is a 4 chanal version of it. I have 12 chanal PDC

you also need Golf 7 USB and harnes for the new media in and App conect.

you need Gateway that support 5F modul.

search online for VW gateway replacement and replace your gateway with a 7N0 907 530 BC and code modul 5F in gatway instalation list.
