TDI DPF delete .. very smelly ?

Post by Niqlai »

Hey all.

I have fittet a DPF delete kit and then had it mapped last week and the result were 203.6 BHP and 455.5 NM ... BUT .. Its very smelly, ofcause i know then when you remove the filter its bound to smell but you can smell it 4 meter all around the car.

Anyone think this is normal or ?

It shouldn't be that smelly but some people are more sensitive. It's normal to smell more once you've had a DPF delete as the dpf and cat captures a lot of the smell.

I'm afraid I would not advise that at all. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/car ... legal.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
