Gear box oil

So i have 2.0tdi scirocco and it's been driven 180000km already. Since vw doesnt have any routine to gear box oil change i've been wondering should i change them. Local vw dealer were thinking the oil change for hours and then said that it would cost 200£ :eek: So do you think i should change them myself or just let it go?
