Got an odd issue - my interior lights ( i.e both central map lamps , passenger glove compartment , rear passenger roof lamps and both sunvisor lamps ) are not working
I noticed whilst i was away on holiday , and *think* that it may have been like this since i collected the car from its first service at the dealers the other week - although that statement may be complete tosh and it's just a coincidence. A couple of months ago , I changed all the bulbs for LED ones and the had been working great ever since
My foot-well lamps , load space lamps , and door puddle lamps are all working fine ( all LED also) .
I suspect a fuse , but cant find any reference to fuses for these lamps in RW1's sticky on fuses and their locations ?
In anycase , i have already pulled every single fuse from the drives side interior fuse panel and checked them for continuity with a multimeter , and they're all OK.
Any idea's ? Is this circuit fused ? , Mines a 14MY car built in May 2013

Well thats a bit odd
I did a fault code read with VCDS and found some reported problems >

So , what (or where) is terminal 30 ? and what happened here ?

Sounds like the control module has shut the lights down due to a short circuit, I would make sure the interior led's are ok before you end up frying the control module.

Re: Interior lights not working - where are the fuses ??
Turns out it was the LED bulb for the passenger vanity mirror. Its a festoon type with an alloy heatsink on the back.
The alloy heatsink is quite wide and sits VERY close to the negative terminal strip of the bulb holder - I'm assuming that it touched at some point and earthed out , causing the LED to fail and the CECM to shut the circuit off when it sensed the short to ground.
I've manipulated the terminal strip away from the replacement bulb and put a bit of insulation tape on there too - just in case. I've done the side with the drivers side vanity lamp too.
For anyone else running LED's in these lamps - it's probably a good idea to pop them out and check them over - most festoon type LED's incorporate a heatsink on the back and there really inst very much room in there.
I'm still surprised that there's no physical fuse for this circuit ? - A 'virtual' fuse in the control module is all very well and good - but what a pain in the arse to have to call on the dealer to reset the module for the sake of a dodgy bulb if you dont have easy access to Vag-Com

Hi There,
i have the same fault, I have ordered a new light kit. Can I reset the code without software or CPU device?
Cheers
