Hi Addymk2, I like the Salsa Ted, nice and dark, doesn't shout mid life crisis!

I'll do a intro post soon, but she's a: 2.0 Tdi GT BlueMotion, GT spec with heated, electric black leather trim, sat nav, climate control.

I think she pretty standard GT spec, I'm new to these, didn't fancy a Golf, but often do some motorway miles.

She's a 2013, 27k on the clock.

Huge thanks to the guys at BCS for fitting a turbo back, 200 cell sports cat power valve system to my Scirocco today.
The quality of the system is amazing, really looks good on the car. The sound fantastically good, a deeper note on idle and off boost than stock, onboost it sounds like a beast!
The service by the guys was excellent, with lovely coffee on demand. I would recommend BCS Power Valve to anyone. It has transformed my car. :hyper:

Only had the car a month so updated the timing chain tensioner to the latest revision, had a de coke carried out (loads of carbon buildup) and a new injector! Now i am happy with how it is running I can look at doing some little mods! :)

Broke two breaker bars trying to get the 12 point hub bolt off! Going to try a blow torch and scaffolding... On dsg Does any know if it needs to be in neutral with the brake pressed or is it okay in Park?

Broke the vacuumactuator of the turbo. Checked it with a hand vacuum gauge pump, N75 working fine. Connected it directly to the actuator, couldn't create zero vacuum :(

Fitted jack pads (tutorial in roccopedia) on the right hand side of my car today. Didn't do the left cos I always park up against the hedges and I couldn't be arsed to moved my car lol. Lefts will get done tomorrow
