I have now the same problem with my TDI 140........... and i didn'nt fill up the tank with petrol......
the car start fine when cool and have a bit diffilculty starting when is hot...... like you a need 3 ou 4 trys for him to start....
if the car stay stoped for 1 hour or so...... starts fine. but if i stop for 5 minutes........... just don't want to go again
any other guys with the same problem.................??

Did you manage to find what was wrong I am having the same issues with my tdi.
