HELP! Lots of lights go out at the same time.
Occasionally, I get an issue where all of the front offside lights and all of the rear nearside lights go out at the same time and the warning lights on the dash tell me that all of those lights are out. After a bit of investigating, I realised that removing the SB16 fuse and putting it back in makes the issue go away for a while. I now know that this fuse is for the On Board Supply Control Unit so I am guessing, once that is reset, it realises that all the lights are fine - thus the issue goes away. But I have no idea why this would be happening in the first place and I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything similar? The only thing I can think of is a wiring issue which is causing the On Board Supply Control Unit to malfunction but I don't know enough about that particular component to know how much control it has over the lights. Has anyone else ever seen something similar and if so, what was done to fix it? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
