Lost of Coolant

Eight months after buying my Scirocco 1.4 TSI 160cv, something strange happened to me today.
After driving a few good miles, near almost home, the dashboard warned low coolant.
I stop and parked the car a few meters ahead, open the bonnet and found that the coolant expansion tank was almost dry, far below minimum but with no trace of water leaks.
Did anyone had this situation here, and how did you solve it?

Thanx in advance

Before driving the car again top up the coolant with G13 to above the minimum level and have the coolant system pressure tested to confirm whether there is a leak or not. A leak is not always obvious as the undertay can catch the escaping coolant meaning there are no obvious puddles under the car. Have a look around the engine bay for signs of a pinky white residue as a sign of where the leak is. It could be as simple as a faulty cap on the reservoir, damaged radiator or a hose.

The instructions you gave me was what I did.
I filled it with distilled water, that's what I had in the car when it happened, the G13 I refueled as soon as I got home.
As the car is under warranty of sale, I contacted the company responsible for it and they indicated a mechanic, so this afternoon I will leave the car to check and make the necessary tests.

Upon examination by the mechanic, he only discovered a misplaced clamp next to the thermostat, and there were no signs of coolant leakage throughout all the engine bay.
He fixed the clamp and told me to drive for a few days and check the level of coolant. If the same happens again, he thinks it will be a tiny leak on the heat exchanger.
