Traction Control

Post by Scuby »

Hi bit of a dumb question but how do I know if the traction control is on or off? I have a 2015 1.4 TSI and was sat in traffic this morning and had a bit of a fiddle with things, I noticed that when I turn my start stop off the button lights orange but when I press the traction control button it doesn't light up in any way, is it supposed too and is maybe got a broken light or is there another way that I'm supposed to know?

If you press and hold the "ESP" button the "ESP Off" light should come on in the dash cluster to tell you its off. On mine I also get a message on the MFD telling me that stability control had been disabled.

Ahhh right that makes sense you can't accidently press it and turn it off, ok I'll give it ago later when I'm in the car, thanks!
