Boost & air intake sensor Fault (G31/299)

Post by zakshaker »

Hello,

VCDS has found two Faults code on my engine. both on the Boost / air intake sensor (G31/299)

I have changed the sensor. but the 2 faults are still there.
The fault comes straight on contact, do not even need to start the engine.
Anyone would have an idea what is going on ?

Here is a copy of first diagnosis

i had a volvo s60 d3, which had issue with sensors. i thought the air sensor so i changed that but it didnt affect anything. turned out to be a exhaust pressure sensor. once that was changed all was well. the engine barely recognised the faults though, even though i could barely accelerate, i had no codes flash at me on the dash. i would probably change the other sensor and see how that goes. they are cheap enough. dont get the crap ones though. i bought a cheaper one and it broke in the winter, i put the old air inlet sensor back on and it drove fine again.
