I purchased a second hand 2016 Scirocco GTS from Germany quite recently, just over 5500 kms on the clock. I've lately started questioning the correct function for the drop down window once you pull the interior door latch, since the car is still in warranty for a few months. It would seem like the door latch has a different feel in conjunction with the window drop function for both driver and passenger side. Passenger side reacts to latch pull quite immediately without the need to push the door, whereas the driver's side latch seems to need not only activation of the latch but a small nudge of the door, as if to start opening it.
I would also like to address a doubt I have in relation to the activation of this system with a Keyless Entry model. It is to my understanding that both windows should lower when the physical ignition key is pulled out. In my case, once I switch the power off and pull the driver's side door, both windows lower, not so if I (once again) power off the car and pull on the passenger side's latch (In this case only that side's window activates). As this particular car has keyless start, I was wondering if this is the proper behaviour.
I've scoured the forums for an answer and found this topic right here https://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum ... =2&t=16522 . Decided to reopen a new one since this one is rather old and not sure if there are any differences in the facelifted version.
Thanks in advance
