Seized 2.0 tsi engine

Hi, I normally spend some time on a M3 forum but yesterday we encountered a problem with my wife’s 2009 2.0 tsi that has done 110k Miles. After breaking down out on the road the engine appears seized and thus I suspect that it has fallen foul to the timing chain tensioner issue. I’ve had some quotes back for an engine rebuild service but I really would like to be done by a specialist conversant with this problem and then fix with any upgraded parts rather than the stock parts that might fail again. I don’t intend to keep the car for another 110k Miles but better to have any upgrade available I think. I could approach VW to see if they will contribute towards what is a common problem on a chain and tensioner that is not a serviceable item. However this may be a contribution to a VW main dealer fix and will still cost more than a Indy rebuild. Can anyone who knows of this problem offer some advice. Maybe one knows of a trusted re-builder that I can contact. I am in the north of Hampshire which is 35 Miles West of !ondon.
