Front bumper lip

I’ve recently bought a Scirocco R, and some how managed to crack the bottom of the front bumper. Pretty sure it’s an impact, pothole or something.

Is this a common problem? The roads aren’t exactly plush where I am, but if it’s something that occurs frequently, anyone had similar issues?

Having to hunt for a new bumper, waiting on a quote to get it fixed!
