Hi guys .. hope you are all well.
I have a 2010 GT 140bhp TDI. Recently I'm having some issues starting, not all the time, probably about 1 or 2 a week. The engine fails to start when turning the key (with clutch down obviously.) Starter engages, engine turns over, fires up almost and then nada!!
Any ideas?

Sounds like it may be a glow plug issue. Worth having it scanned to see if any fault codes are stored.

Sorry for the late reply - apparently this was just a battery issue. Changed to a larger CCA and physical size battery. All is good now.
