I need some advice with my 2.0 tsi. It misfired and cut out on me at the weekend. Fault code was cylinder 3 misfire which always came back after switching coil packs.
I put a new set of spark plugs in and it started with a cloud of white smoke then cleared and idled. It now starts straight up, runs and drives like it should apart from on live data every cylinder occasionally misfires. Also when you let off the throttle it drones.
I have removed the inlet and cleaned out the carbon but it is still the same. Currently waiting for another set of injectors.
Could someone please upload a video of what theirs sounds like when revving up and letting off in a standard car. Also has anyone got any ideas what could cause a droning noise when letting off throttle which sounds like a misfire.
