Hi , as per the title I am looking for recommendations for subwoofer and amp setups.
Previously had a cheap Edge sub with a built in amp which sounded great in my MK4 golf, with the lack of sound deadening and cloth seats, moved it into my E46 and sounded dreadful because of it being a coupe with an enclosed boot and having thicker leather seats etc.
Anyone suggest a good setup?, more focused on bass than quality, going to the standard headunit for now.
Budget between £300 - 400
Thanks in advance, Lewis

Re: Subwoofer recommendation?
Hi. I have a viber cbr 12 on my car and it sounds quite good. It has 550w rms and it's enough for me. Also it is an active subwoofer so it has the amplifier inside the box. I have for 6 years now and the amp gave up on me last year so I bought a pioneer amp and it sounds a bit better. If 550w rms is not enough for you, I know viber has another model with 2 subwoofers. It is a good brand with good quality/price ratio.
