Just saw this while swiping through the Carista app.
It's currently disabled. What do you guys run at? Should I turn it on does it have any negative impact?

Re: Torque steer compensation
I saw this option listed the last time I used Carista but didn't know what it was.
I've done a fair bit of reading since then and it does sound like a good thing to try as sometimes under hard acceleration I don't want to take my hand off the wheel to change gear but what I can't see is if it could cause premature wear of any of the steering components.
My other concern being if it is listed as something that is possible to activate, especially on the R that I have, then why was it not activated in the factory? Or was it something that they thought about but didn't follow through with like fitting bonnet lifter mounts but not actually fitting the bonnet lifter?
So far I haven't been able to find anyone saying that it caused something to fail but I'm still looking.

Mmmh yes, that is indeed strange that it's not turned on by factory settings
