New Engine mods & engine bay tidy up

Post by LHM »

So the plan is to take this car upto appx 360bhp. I am currently in the process of getting all the hardware ready before an R-tech Performance Stage 2+ and DSG map.

Current mods are:
R8 Coil packs
NGK Spark plugs
Revo Cold Air Intake
Forge Oil Catch Can
Forge DV to intake hose
GFB DV+
SuperPro ALK
New OEM 6.6 bar Fuel Filter

Future mods for later this year:
Full BCS exhaust system
Wagner FMIC
Loba HPFP
RS4 Fuel pressure valve
Possibly Coilovers or lowering springs
R-tech stage 2+ map
DSG map

The car has an oil change every 5k with Castrol Edge 5W 30, but once I have the stage 2+ map I will be going onto 5W 40 oil. Cam follower was changed at 48000 miles and had minor signs of wear, but better to be safe than sorry. Car is run on nothing but 99RON Petrol. This car is looked after better than a new born baby! :p

How did you get on with the Superpro ALK mods? Did you get it done?

Also do you understand how much of a differences the ALK mod alone made for you?
