Advice on selling price

Post by sciroccorich »

Hi,
I have a set of silver 18" Interlagos alloys that I don't need anymore, they are in excellent condition and have good GT radial tyres on with lots of tread. The centre caps are in good condition and I have a spare brand new set (of caps) to throw in with them. The wheels also come with brand new VW wheel covers as they were going to be my winter set, so they were stored with lots of care.

Does anyone know approximately much this lot would be worth? I have an idea but wanted a second opinion.

Thanks

I would say in the region of £400.

Yes but just my opinion. GT Radial tyres are at the cheaper end of the market and "loads of tread" has a different meaning to different people.

They're worth what someone is willing to pay for them :)

Wow £400!...........That means that each alloy that is in excellent condition (no curving) complete with a tyre that has around 6-7 mm tread, new genuine centre caps and brand new VW storage covers are only worth £100 each!

I've seen single alloys that are not as good on EBay go for that, I was thinking more £650-700.......oh well thanks for your comments guys!

I know nothing to be fair. But was getting quite attracted to the idea of getting yours for £400 :)

Id agree....£400 is about right.
Cheapish tyres, centre caps/covers add very little.
Interlagos is a very old wheel style.

For example, Ive just sold 4 x19” BMW 326M wheels with like new Bridegstones. Immaculate wheels in big demand for £800. BMw price £2400.
