oil sevice due

Hey, i bought a scirocco about 6 months ago, and its reading oil service due on the dash. So i phone a volkswagon dealer and tell them all my details and they say it will cost around £240... is this right? seems an awful lot. looking on the website a minor service costs £160, so why is this oil service so much. When i asked them they mentioned my car being under 3 years old... but even on the website i book it in for a minor service which i assume covers oil service no?
I'm not a very car savvy person this is the first newish and fancier car ive owned so i could be completely wrong. but any help would be appreciated thanks.
