Help idle terrible

So the other day I went to start my 2009 2.0 tsi the car starts fine and revs high for a few seconds with no problems then once it drops down to 800rpm the engine starts shaking like crazy and feels like its misfiring and its going to cut out. First thing i thought was coils so i tried the coils but they all seem to be okay. Then i thought it maybe the pcv valve so i removed the pipe the goes from the pcv to the intake and blocked it and what do you know the engine starts running perfectly ! so the next morning i go to vw get a brand new pcv vale replace my old one start the car up and its still running like crap but when i block the hose it runs perfect any ideas would be greatly appreciated ?
