Dectane or car-lab drl's

Post by kanedingle »

Just debating which drl's to treat my roc to.
Been reading up on Dectane and a lot of sets seem to go down?
Car lab I don't really hear a lot about.
Any suggestions or reviews?

Can't say much on them as Ive only just fitted my ones 2 days ago but they do look really nice. Ive heard about some not working after a while but that may be because of a factory error or possibly because of something else.
These were the ones that I purchased " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I do like the look of the dectane one better than the car lab one. We're they just plug and play rafail7?

Dectanes only fail when not fit correctly, just make sure you get the plug that the sidelight feed fits into to cover the hole the sidelight cable comes out of on the unit, I made doubly sure by securing it with tape.

Yes you just remove the bulbs and the plastic clip and plug in the new ones, there is an install guide that comes with them that has step by step instructions with pictures. It is really easy to do it

I'm thinking about the same MOD

But I'm thinking about the genuine VW LEDs which are on the R, one little snag... Would they fit my 170 TDI?

Do all sets of aftermarket ones get the error message ?
Will the R ones work and will they have a warning message ?

The Dectane ones do not give any error message and the R ones will not fit due to size difference
