Boot not popping

With a: Manual box
Options: REVO stage 2 intake pipe
VWR intake
Miltek Cat-back non res exhaust
Airtec stage 1 intercooler

Boot not popping

Hey guys, not long had my scirocco and by boot isnt popping properly, it unlocks using the button on the remote, but i always have to be pulling up on the boot at the same time

Obviously this is a problem if i have my keys in the ignition as i physically cant press the boot release in the car and lift the boot :(

Which part do i need to renew (guessing something is getting old and tired) and does anybody have a part number?

Sounds like the two black rubber bump stops on the side of the boot lid aren't pushing it off the catch enough, they can be adjusted but to replace them its like a fiva each i think

Not sure on part numbers but i just took one of them off and took it into VW

I'm having the same issue sometimes... If you find out the part numbers please let me know. :)

Options: multifunction steering wheel, fogs, 18" alloys; DAB; XDS activated, DRLs reset, lock beep activated; indicator repeat set to 4; covered cup holder, rear seat 12v socket installed. metal pedals, 210 Golf GTi also in the stable. Scirocco gone - miss it. Polo GTI now.

Think part number is 1K8827761D called 'stop buffer adjustable'.

I had this recently on my scirocco, the bumps stops ( in the hatch) were simply stuck on the "pushed in position" a simple twist and they popped out and haven't had a problem since.
