Time for some blue stuff, then. First up VWR springs to fix the ride height. Fitted by VRS Automotive in Northampton last Thursday. Will post some pics when it settles, but happy so far. Here they are pre-fitting:





A few days after fitting they looked like this and i think the front has sunk a little more since then, too!:

And second up: my first set of blue footwell lights, Cree leds (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380930969522? ... EBIDX%3AIT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Awful fit so I cannibalised the holder, rewired and soldered the bulb in place - and they are bright. Even on 20% in the mfd these are on the verge of distracting whilst driving. Weird seeing your feet all blue. Really stand out when the doors are open though and the colour is a perfect match to the blue dials. Plan is to either a) cover an area of the lens to stop light spill/tone them down or b) ditch them in favour of the option 2 blue leds that arrive in a couple of weeks.




Couple of weeks later, and these are what I settled on - 6smd blue leds, with a wrap of window tint film to kill the brightness:
