Totally agree - I've done the same for the 360. Looks tasty from the vids on the official site:

Re: Retrofitting DAB

I'd have thought in a couple of years that they will bring out a kit to convert old units to DAB. Otherwise they'll have a lot of angry people when the digital switchover happens! A bit like the angry bloke in the last question of a recent Sunday Times car clinic: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/d...

Ford Focus RS500

Hardly new news but the What Car? review caught my eye. All 101 of them in matt black only, courtesy of being coated in 3M foil(!), rather than paint. Would you have one? http://cdn.images.whatcar.com/deliver/WhatCar/356x236fffffff//Car/Ford/Focus/2.5RS5003drHatchback/16510101139414.jpg http://cdn.i...

Re: Any gamers out there?

Hell yeah! Love to game! Currently working my way through *every single* race in Forza 3 just to get the last remaining achievement for the complete 1k gamer points... What can I say, I'm a junkie - I spent about hours just trying to get the drift achievement, it's a great way to while away the hour...

DAB can't currently be specified with the RNS510.

Re: Anyone with a Rising Blue in the Sevenoaks area?

True - so all I've got to go on is the test drive. I took it out for about an hour on dual-carriageway and country roads and I thought the performance was good - not hair raising but still nice and eager. At the end of the day, whilst I would have loved to get the 2.0, stretching to the extra moolah...

Re: Anyone with a Rising Blue in the Sevenoaks area?

Personally, I think it's got to be Candy White all the way. Whilst Rising Blue is a great colour in itself, I think the white just suits the Roc better - it looks much crisper.

Re: Too big

Personally feel white with pano roof really enhances the profile of the Roc, especially from the front by making it look more squat.

Cheers for the heads-up Ashley.

Watched this last night - very interesting. must have been a terrible sight. Fascinating to hear from some of the other drivers and how it affected them.

Re: Discounts at main dealer with broadspeed sheet printed?

Although it really is in excellent condition I bet you the middle price is what they'd give me- MINI themselves have recently valued it at £15k bang on but seeing as it'll go to VW I'm sure they'll never give me that?? Anyone in the know on here? If VW won't give you a good price, will the BMW deal...

Re: Discounts at main dealer with broadspeed sheet printed?

What is the best conversation to have with a dealer when I walk in, literally? Where do you start etc? I heard asking for a "discount" is never the thing to do- best to ask for a fair deal for myself & salesperson. IMO, the main things are go prepared, be realistic and be flexible. Bu...

Re: Discounts at main dealer with broadspeed sheet printed?

Can I just recommend DealDrivers ? They're listing the 2.0 TSI DSG at £22,710 and offer discounts off list for options. I found their service excellent - happy to answer questions over the phone, an immediate response to my initial order and put me in touch with a main dealer the same day, without c...

Just for kicks, I've had a go at translating the text (with the help of Google): Hill-start assist standard across the entire range (previously standard for DSG gearboxes only); €20 RRP price increase for affected engines. New 'Beam Wizard' option: switches between main beam and dipped headlights as...

Re: Carpark Capers

Hello I think you should get a repair quote and take it from there. If it's going to cost a lot of money to repair, maybe you should try the insurance company and see what they say. If the repair costs are high enough, it may be in the interests of your insurance company to investigate the allegatio...

Re: MY2011 changes

Hill hold = Standard. The standard options should be in your Scirocco's build. Thanks C. Is that because my car won't actually be 'complete' until week 22 or because you think my estimated build week may be delayed? The check you need to do with your dealer is the pricing. That depends on how VW UK...

Re: MY2011 changes

Am I reading this right - do the new standard options get added automatically if your car is build week 22+, even if they weren't available at the time of ordering?

And when you say the hill hold function will be added to all manual cars - is that as standard or an option?
