Waiting for my H&R springs to arrive at some point this week (courtesy of OmZy). Hopefully get them fitted this weekend. Looking forward to the slightly better response from the steering. Anyone who has H&R's fitted, what is the ride quality like? Is it lots harsher? as I haven't had H&R...

I bought a Hewlett Packard dash cam. Plumbed all the cable in so no visible wiring. Very easy to route cables pics to follow in a few minutes

It's to do with market positioning. The Golf GTi only runs 217 standard. It wouldn't be good form if the Scirocco outgunned their prestigious GTi, hence lowering the Sciroccos power output. And there's also the emissions issues too (whether that has something to do with it I'm unsure) Sent from my i...

If they (VW) have to update software, it usually removes remaps. But until we start to see what actions are being taken its all just rumour. I will ask the question though

Had a little inside info....
The vast majority won't be software changes. There will be hardware changes too. In the most extreme it will mean cylinder head replacements on some variants

Not all of them can do needle sweep on the new dash... What year is the car? Mines a 59 plate with white dash / steering controls and it cannot be done. Mines a 2012, but an entry level model. I've been out and done a few miles. I'll give it a couple of days to let the ecu settle, I may even see a little more out of it [emoji14]

It pulls well right through to 7000rpm with a particularly noticeable kick from around 4000-6000rpm
