Hi roy, quick question for you,Would changing from pre facelift to facelift xenons be as involving as this or would it be easier? I have factory installed bi xenons on my 2011 and if it not as hard to do then I’ll be looking to upgrade my lights to facelift ones?

The difference between swirls and micro marring is swirls show up like round circles and get bigger the further you go micro marring will br like lots off little ticks bunched up.

No mate you need to go with the heavy more then once until all the swirls have been removed, because it sounds to me like the heavy set is not heavy enough to cut through the swirls in one go. Once you have done that then go over with the second step, and then you can finish off with the third step ...

Sounds to me like you are not getting enough cut with the orange pad and heavy cut combo, how many sets of this have you done before doing the blue and micro set? are you checking your work after each set with a panel wipe/ipa wipe? without looking at it, its all guess work from me, what i would sug...

It’s most likely the subframe issues most mk5 platform cars suffer. Nothing to worry about i have the same issue on my car.

As general rule no pressure washing, just clean with shampoo and hose pipe it off.

I got around 20k out of them(pzero) I did back to front them once, the fronts had completely gone there was a fair amount still left on the back ones, but there seemed to be cracks appearing on the side walls so ditched them at the same time, I was really impressed with the initial grip of the asym2...

Iv got 30k out of mine so far still plenty left in them, I just swap them back to front every 10k or so. The pzeros the car had on didn't last as well they were factory fit, but gripped a lot better then the f1 asym 2, I'm going for mpss next. HTH

was brand new im the first owner, deff no aftermarket alarm.
no was not my vcds but someone on the other scirocco froum did it for me,
i dont have vcds myself so cant even check it unfortunately.
