I sat the speedwarning to 155 (250km/h) and after awhile it said "250km/h exceeded" in the display. Don't know how much faster it could've gone. I had to let off the throttle. I'd love to try again some day since mine doesn't have the stock speedlimiter left after beeing upgraded. Car felt...

Go get new ones @ the VW workshop/dealership. It's covered by the warranty. Atleast here in sweden.

Mine does too every time I start the car... Atleast I think it does. But a minute sounds like a long time. I'd say around 20secs or so. I Use Sandisk Ultra II SDHC 16GB.

I'm 27 and have also driven a few. Maybe not as many as you but I've been inte the auto industry for 6 years and it's been my interest since I had my drivers license. when I was 18. =)

That actually pisses me off...

It's my car. I've bought it, I own it. It shouldn't be up to VW to decide what I can or can not turn off...

I love track days. A big part of them is to get to know the limits and your cars limits. What's there to learn anymore?

I've tried averything you can imagine. Including removing the the fuses. the roc wont't allow it and I hate it..

So I was hoping someone here had the solution?

yeah, well pushing the button makes the esp sign in the panel blink, however that only turns off the anti-spin function not the stability protection... ahh i see ok! I tried removing the #2 and #4 fuses. They are both for the esp and the abs. The car just died on me and wouldn't start without the fuses in place..

What's the trick? Anyone?
