I try to fix little bits like this as the dealers tend to cause more damage than they fix !

Have a look in the A pillar, there will possibly be a springy clip in it (it should just be painted metal), save you going to the dealers.

RW1 i highly suspect that the clip is still located in the frame itself and has popped out of the plastic trim as mostly happens when you remove the trim.

Is the clip in the A frame itself ?, as you probably know it should be in the plastic bit at the end, pull it out of the frame and put it in its proper location then bang it back in after locating it properly. How old is it ?, looks like someone has taken it off to do something ?, maybe add Bluetoot...

As much as I love my Scirocco I can't think of one single thing that makes it more special than the equivalent Golf. I tell a lie the Scirocco has frameless windows:-) I look forward to the Wedgie. Dont forget massive A pillars topped with massive mirrors that make it hard to see around multi store...

My understanding was ACC also adjusted the throttle response also, or at least on the R, I wouldnt spec it though as it never came out of comfort mode on my R as the settings go from Firm to even firmer to shake the doors off, i had 19" wheels though.

Are you seeing the radio at all in the MFD ? , oh and have you got white MFD or red ?

The reason your trying to reboot is to get it to display in the MFD ?, does it not come straight on the MFD ?, mine didnt need to be rebooted, what was coded on the RNS ?

How old is the unit, where did you buy it ?

I finished stripping mine ready for it going tomorrow !

I will need to check on ELSA but its a spoiler off job iirc !!!, i think theres a bodge that you can do though

I had something similar on my old edition 30, it wasnt so much a bang but a feeling through the pedal, VW even changed the Dual mass flywheel and the clutch and this didnt solve it, a few people solved it by adding the dog bone mount to the engine.

Do you have an antenna already ?, is the RNS in your old car from the factory or did you retro fit it ?, the optical sensors will work as long as they program the unit properly.

Do they do black Taladegas for the scirocco now ?, also I would lower it but wouldn't be putting spacers on it.
