Took it to the dealer. It was a bad connection, the front bumper had to come off to find it.

It is the standard fitted unit, I have booked it in with the dealer, just didn't want to look daft if I have swithced it off. I have looked in the book and can't find anything.

My reverse display does not come on the screen anymore, it stays on the radio programmes, could I have swithced it off accidently?

Keep away from those kerbs or you'll be keeping the repairer busy. I got a small dent on my rear wheel arch by a kind lorry driver...estimate is £900, so it could be worse.

I had a volvo SE and the reg book said it was an 'S' so I got a letter from volvo and kept it with the reg documents.
The only problem is when u talk to insurance companies etc the car will alwas come up with the wrong spec when they look it up.

I would go for the DSG again, every time. Take the MF steering wheel as an option if its not standard for your spec as that will include the paddles.

I was the same as you, in fact I asked the dealer to change the spec after I had ordered and they said I could not do that, so I have the standard system. To be honest I am not sure if climatronic is worth the money but it is a bit annoying having to keep fiddling with the fan, I probably notice it ...

Check for your button in your glovebox above the key-hole-switch to deactivate the passenger airbag

I had an annoying rattle like that, turned out to be my sunglasses in the overhead cubby hole.

I don't think it is possible to control it from the Ipod, only from the radio touch screen. Press selection and then the button in the top left of the screen to navigate the Ipod.

All I know is to press selection and then the button in the top left of the screen to navigate back to the root list and then go in to the playlists. Not sure if it does more than that, keep us posted if it does.

Thanks ZephyR. They are the same ones. I did think about doing what you, as it does make sense. Did you remove all the locking nuts? also I'm guessing the new exhaust tips should be be about 1/4" further out than the originals.

yes you are right, the IPod menu on the radio screen can be managed the same as the menu on the Ipod, playlists etc using the touch screen....very clever, I'm sure you will like it.

I often use my Ipod never heard it jump, not sure where you got that from.

I think the rear tints look nice with dark coloured cars, I do agree it seems to spoil the look on lighter cars, but its very subjective. I like them especially as I often have the rear seats down with the golf clubs in the back, not so obvious with the tint.
