Re: New to DSG
You don't need to put it in N (neutral), it's not a manual.
The only ever time I put it in N is to close my garage

Re: First signs of rust on the rear arch.
My arches are all bubbled and severely rusted. Same year 2.0 tsi gt black. Took to VW cause still under paint warranty. Basically fed me a load of crap that it's been painted in past even though I proved them wrong and refuse to fix it. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk Do you mind sharing a few...

First signs of rust on the rear arch.
I was fitting some new mud flaps as the previous one was broken in half when someone scuffed my rear bumper on this side (rear right). The scuffing wasn't significant, I was able to get the marks away with a touch-up pen and you honestly you wouldn't notice, it bumped the bumper a bit out of place w...

Rear fender 'mud flap', OEM part number?
Does anyone know what the OEM flap on the fender/arch is? Like the code? Or where I can buy it? I noticed that the flap on the right side is missing a part of it and it's open for dirt and gravel etc to enter. Pic is for reference. Thank you. https://i.gyazo.com/cea621f3a74821e8e62946614b76c0eb.png

Re: New wheels - Bola B17
Got them fitted yesterday. Not quite the kind of showroom pictures as the weather has been shit the last few days and I just wanted to take some. The tires collect everything as they are super soft, dirt, stones, grind. I've heard a few knocks of stones flying into the arches. Also, there is clearly...

New wheels - Bola B17
Hi guys, After three years of owning my Rocco I've finally decided to pick up some new rims & tires. I've gone for the Bola B17's - https://bolawheels.co.uk/bola-b17/ https://bolawheels.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/B17_1995_TOP.jpg I once saw a white Rocco on R8 facelifted replicas (I think ...

Re: Sweat under the engine, rear main seal (RMS) leak? 2.0 T
Im 80% sure that its the RMS, I have the same. I think mine is worse than yours as min needs oil on the floor and I keep having to top up the oil. Unfortunately, its a gearbox out job, the actual RMS is about 70quid but you will spend on labour getting to it. Yeah, I looked it up it's about an 8-ho...
