Re: Please help me on how to get through the firewall please

I didn't look into that side so wouldn't know. There's a plastic separator which I just drilled a hole in and then it was all okay.
I would assume there is an exciting hole under the dash but probably be quite difficult to access

Re: Please help me on how to get through the firewall please

I ran air lines from inside the car out of a grommet in the door hinge area accessed through the footwell (remove trim) then over the wheel arch lining into the engine bay where the brake lines go through. Not sure what you're running but that should be suitable. Hope that makes sense. Will send pho...

Re: tyre wrench rant

I would guess they have been over tourqued... They should be 120nm tight.
I can remove them with difficulty using my hands. And easily by using one leg on the wrench.
Are you loosening them while the vehicle is on the floor?

Re: Digital speed readout

I'm guessing your speed is a small one Inbetween 2 lines near the bottom of the screen? This one cannot be changed. You need to VCDS/VAGCOM to enable to larger MPH one. As ice got on my pictures. Re: Digital speed readout

Yes that's it thanks....but mine's definitely not got "Alt speed display" under "units". Units is where I expected to find it. It's set to UK mpg but my speed is still in Km/h despite my odometer and trip being in miles which I thought was strange anyway. I'm guessing your speed...

Re: Oil Temp for 2.0 TSI

Hey all I've started to get a feeling my oil temp is running higher than it used to. Could anyone in the UK with a 2.0 TSI comment on what kind of oil temps they're running currently in this weather? I swear mine used to top out around 102-103c and usually ram around 98-100, but I'm regularly getti...

Yeah the dealer charged £350 for the part and £150 to fit... Quite a pricey bit of kit

Re: Facelift xenon retrofit (AFS, dyn. & static cornering)

I need to change my BCM 5K0937087AB with keyless entry. Is this an easy thing to do? I understand it's not plug and play. I have VCDS. Is there any instructions I can follow to program my keyless entry and push to start system? It's for a 2015 Scirocco R. Obviously I don't want to screw this up as t...

Facelift R No Plate

I have got my front bumper filled and painted (£440 - so a bit steep) then bought a number plate online from showplates.com 3" x 12" which I've put on my grill with clear cable ties https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170424/f493e7d19d7c6f22b6a58893d750d999.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tap...

Re: Scirocco R DSG Stage 1 engine tune

Sounds awesome! I too have just got a Scirocco R! I'm considering soon doing a stage 1 with the DSG tune aswell but I'm not sure what company to choose here in the UK. With the stage 1 has this improved the exhaust sound? I think for an R the car is to quiet and needs to be louder, will the stage 1...

Scirocco R Facelift DRL bulb type

Hello guys,

Not sure if it's me being an idiot or if it's just really hard to find out.
Does anyone know the bulb type used for the DRL in the Facelift (2015) R model? And is this easy to change?

Thanks

Re: Best place tool look for insurance?

I'm 20 Scirocco R 2015 no mods
£1650 on confused.com with admiral.
Adding my parents as additional drivers brings it from £2500 to £1650.
Play around with your job title if it fits into more than one category to as it dropped me another £100.
