Scirocco Central

I've had 3 scirocco's now and each time the V5 document has been incorrect. The first 2 cars I had DVLA had down as automatics when they were manuals, and my latest car they have down as a diesel when it's a petrol! I have written to both my dealer and DVLA pointing out the mistake but after 3 month...

I have a petrol 180. I'm getting somewhere between 35-40MPG from driving around town and motorway driving. Costs me around £50 to fill the tank.

MIB II is only on the discovery head unit

I've used Autobid twice and recently Carwow. I've had really good discounts with both of them. I took delivery of a Scirocco Rline 180TSI the other week and I've been pleased with it. I paid for loads of extras this time. I'm loving the new discover head unit and Xenon lights.

I predict all new cars sold within the next 10 years will be automatic. There is no future for manual for several reasons: Auto's are getting more gears so therefore will be more fuel efficient. I dont agree. I've just taken delivery of my 3rd Scirocco and it feels and looks quite different on the inside from the first Scirocco I had back in 2008. The head unit is now the latest Discover MIB 2 system which includes Android Auto. Xenons have been greatly improved and I also have park assist/...

It cant be up-to-date when VW say it's no longer an option. I'm beginning to think 'voice control' comes as standard with the Discovery media player.

I've just had a phone call from my dealer to say voice control can no longer be specced as an option.....anyone know if this is correct?

At long last they've updated the head unit!! About time! Anyone got any info on the MIB 2? Shame they haven't made the silly dials on top of the dash an option too though.

But check their brochure for the R-line, it shows the GT bumper. I'm finding it all very confusing!

No, the photo clearly shows an R-line badge. All I can think is if you specify the Xenons you get a diferent front bumper. Can anyone confirm?

This might be a daft question but does the R-line look like the image above or this one?? On VW's website it shows both!!

Just a concept blue at Worthersee. One thing that pisses me off is the new ac unit, apart from that the car looks amazing :yes: specially the fact that the bucket seats have leather, i wish you could pick that as an option. That doesnt sound a bad offer to me. Best offer I could get for my TDi 170 manual was £11,500. Mine had 60k on the clock though and had no extras. I have now just took delivery of a new TDi 170, but in rising blue this time :) I dont think you ever get much of a return on extras unless it's leather ...

VW dealers will rip you off with GAP. I paid £127 with "directgap" for 3 year cover (return to invoice). I feel it's worth it for peace of mind. not when your VW dealer gave it your for free ;) You get nothing for free in this world! You'll be telling me next you got the car free as well ;)
