VW parts are guaranteed for 2 years aren't they.... it is irrelevant that they have already replaced the parts once... they are trying it on - stick to your guns

If you are in the UK, then replacing the windows glass amplifier is the way to go - I'm all over the country and never had an issue with reception on my Kenwood headunit.

Why don't you take it to a garage for them to have a proper look... Where abouts are you based?

I just had all my suspension springs replaced because a very small bit broke off the top of the OSF - the broken bit sat in the cup that the spring sits in and was rattling around for weeks, that one drove me nuts too.... check for that...

I've just fixed a 'ticking' noise that was coming from behind the aircon/heater controls & Stereo - that was driving me nuts for months.... very satisfying when you can't hear it at all, regardless of road condition

When I had my first ever brand new car, I was told to drive it from day one as you intend to drive it every day after...

So I did - and always have done with every new car since and never had any issues.

Unless advised by the manufacturer, do what you think is best...

I run Dunlop Sport Maxx's on 19" and they are amazing... very grippy and very predicatble - best tyre I have ever had on wet roads...

Based on comments above - I guess it's all down to personal preference
