When you are stationary, how much movement is in the steering wheel before it turns the wheels and is there any knocking when you do it?

Re: Installing a Catback myself (DIY) ?

I think its a home DIY, I did mine in a couple of hours on the floor. Just need a socket set and some screw drivers plus some wd40 for the existing connecting sleeve.

I found it easier to jack up one side fully rather than just the back.

Re: *.* Scirocco R Build! (Fun, Tough & Cost) *.*

when the engine is at 80C rev to 2000rpm, the oil pressure should be between 39-65PSI

edit, looking at the bottom gauge if your at 2000rpm reving in that picture then the first bullet point will apply.

Re: Went on the Dyno

I have had the powerflex anti lift kit fitted for a while now here are my experiences -steering is a little heavier at low speeds (such as car parks) -wheel hop is eliminated (main reason i got it) -Turn in felt better. one thing i would say is to buy the uprated front wishbone bushes at the same ti...

The DP quailty was good, fitting is good so overall im happy with it and at £450(£250 for decat) alot cheaper than APR/Milltech. It has its MOT on Friday so i w...

Re: Downpipe fitting

Re: clutch has been slipping now it isnt?

Was it wet out? Best way to check is to be in 6th at low RPM then full throttle and if it does what you describe above the clutch is slipping and will need to be replaced.
