Re: Here's My Black Scirocco

Looks smart, I made a T5 grill last year and it was a right pain of a job. RE the spoiler, I've got one of those, was a different seller but I imagine they come from the same factory. I was a bit apprehensive at first with the fitting as its from China, but once it arrive the fitting was pretty muc...

Re: Here's My Black Scirocco

Got to ask, the red trim on the front. Where do you get this from? is this just vynl or is there a specific part? The red trim is just vinyl tape, I got mine from Amazon but I think there is an eBay one which is better. Just clean the grill thoroughly or it will come off in the rain and wind. I use...

Hi sorry to sound thick but do they just simply fit in the same as the factory ones just they look like they have a strange connection?? They fit in the exact same as a bulb mate, here's a guide to fitting them, you can see they are about the same size as the halogen bulb http://www.sciroccocentral...

Re: Here's My Black Scirocco

I finally fitted my t5 grill :) I've had it back for a few weeks, it's just rained every weekend since I got it because of the crap Scottish weather. Anyway I put it into a different body shop and I'm much happier with the job they did :D http://i68.tinypic.com/2akh3jc.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/16i...

Re: Airbag light on and MFSW wont work

I think if he sold you a car that the horn doesn't work, then it would fail an MOT which means it's not safe to be on the road. Maybe have a word with the seller. Was it private or from a garage ?

Try 1k8 853 677 9b9
Sometimes when you search on ebay or whatever the spaces can effect the search so try it with and without. I got a slightly damaged one for £40 but I think I saw somewhere it's about £70 new from the dealers

Re: Front bumper removal?

The front of the car is easy enough to remove, I've never had any mechanical experience or that and I managed it on my own. The only tool you'll need is a t25 torx screwdriver. And I used 2 car jacks to raise the front up and get at the screws underneath. You'll need to know how to take the fog surr...

I could be wrong, but I'm sure all the pre-facelift Scirocco's are model 137, and the facelift from the end of 2014 are 138

Can you not reverse park? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk I suppose that would be a good idea :) I always reverse into a space, it just feels right haha Today I've been fixing the cracks on the grill. This was taken before I started and the bumper isn't fitted, it is just sitting in place. But...

Re: Here's My Black Scirocco

That's like mine on kerbs lol, I try to avoid them as much as possible. A splitter would catch on things quite often I think so a good idea not to fit one, unless you only put it on for a car show then take it off when driving, which seems like a lot of work haha. Go for a colour coded front grill :)

Sorry to hear you had so much bother with the bodyshop. Looks like a pretty shit job to me and considering how much work you must have put in to get the bumper ready you must be raging. Re: Here's My Black Scirocco

So I finished sanding down the grill to shape and handed it into a local shop to get painted. Hit a couple of problems now though. I handed all the parts I had bought in and explained what I was trying to get the car to look like. I just felt as though the guy wasn't really interested in listening a...
