Or for peace if mind you could clean/replace it anyway to rule it out? And I would be very surprised to find out it was the throttle writing behind the accelerator pedal. Can you see any obvious damage? Have you tried moving the wiring around at idle to see if lights come on or the idle fluctuates? ...
