Re: Thinking of buying a Rocco, which model?
I've got the 2.0 TSi R Line 210 bhp and I love it, has decent economy and flies when you put the pedal down. DSG is also incredible!

Re: What do you guys think of the optional rear spoiler ?
I got mine off of eBay. Quality isn't as good as the OEM part however, but still looks tidy! It came from Poland and needed a little work to get it to fit properly, but at £99, I thought it was worth a punt. http://i65.tinypic.com/2rc4spy.png Where did you get that valance? I've looked everywhere b...

Re: UKtom's Candy White OEM+
Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm so happy with how they look. They are 8j wide, ET41. I've got 15mm spacers on the rear and 12mm up front but think I'm gunna have to reduce the rear spacer to 12mm to tuck them when air is installed. I had a photoshoot done tonight too, here is one of many pics....

Re: Warranty question
It shouldn't void the air con, that should be alright with a remapMatty81 wrote:Yeah I guess if you have an engine problem they will pick that up, but my air con has gone so was thinking about buying warranty but I don't think they would check the engine for that?

Warranty question
I was wondering the same so I gave CupraBob a message and he said a remap would void any repairs to the engine. Such a shame, I want mine remapping but I've gotten 2 years warranty and knowing my luck something would go wrong!

It happens to me too, may just be because its a sudden push of power towards the back end, I don't think it's anything to worry about

Re: Newbie in need of some advice. Fault code 00022
Hello, I recently purchased a 1.4 TSI scirocco from a used car dealer less than a week ago. Yesterday the engine light came on and I had the car scanned to see the problem. I received the following faulty codes: -00022 Bank 1 CMP Sensor -G40 Engine Speed Sensor -G28 Incorrect Correlation. I was tol...

Re: Newbie needing some help!
Don't know much about DSG, but what i will say is do not rush, it took me 4 months of looking to find my 2.0 TSI (manual), but i picked up a 2009 model with 50,000 in white for £9k only a couple of months ago, so this one does seem a tad expensive, but i don't know how much DSG adds But colour was ...

Yeah I do really like the cars. Just the colour of this one I'm on and off with it. I am in a bit of a rush to get a car which don't help lol yeah maybe that was it then. Just put it in sport put foot down and was like that felt faster then using the paddles lol. It's not something to be rushed man...

Re: Newbie needing some help!
Thanks for the replies. So in general the car is worth the money with the dsg box? I assume the change at 40k is part of the normal service? And on the sport and dsg issue. Is the car actually quicker in just sport then in dsg? Or was that just me over thinking 9k doesn't seem bad at all, but in th...

Re: Newbie needing some help!
Awesome looking car, I recently upgraded from a manual 1.4 160 to a 210 DSG and i would choose the DSG a thousand times over. The shifts are spot on and the paddle shifts are great fun, is it the 7 or 6 speed dsg? 2.0 litre has the 6 speed wet clutch DSG, To the OP, DSG is generally reliable but if...

Cheers for the replies! Having a read through makes me wonder if something is going wrong, maybe the inlet manifold?
