Re: Time for 4 new tyres - Advice needed!

I had a pair of Michelin PS3s on the front at the last change, and they were so much better than the self-sealing contis it had on before! Grip levels in wet and dry seem so much better. I had the 95Y XL as they were the nearest match to the contis! Perfectly goo ride on them. In terms of tyre fitte...

Renaultsport have published a free Chronograph/Acceleration/G-meter app for the Iphone. Good reviews so far. Just need to find a way of fixing the phone firmly in the car and do some times..... Private roads/track only!

Re: RNS 510 splash screen/startup image changeable?

Won't it just be part of the firmware coding. There must be the image within it and the reference to that image in the code. it is a coding change but not via VCDS, there is a tool but its about 1500 euros, i will dig out a link, i didnt recommend it before as i thought the OP wouldnt want to pay t...

Most things I have read state that the PS3s improve on the PS2s wet weather handling which should be fun! Never had a problem with the PS2 on the Megane other than their price!

Doth my cap to Event Tyres

Needed both fronts changing URGENTLY after my locking wheel nut disaster. When I got home last night after having the nuts sorted (1830hrs), I got straight in the internet to Event Tyres. Ordered two Michelin Pilot Sport 3s, £176 a piece, and they still had the option of selecting this morning. Thin...

Re: Volkswagen Warrington strike again!

I am kind of glad I am not the only one that holds this view. Prior to buying the car I had no knowledge of how bad they were. The salesman I dealt with originally and did the deal with was very useful and wanted the sale (obviously). But whilst I was on holiday and the cherished transfer was suppos...

Re: Volkswagen Warrington strike again!

Wigit - it is all part of a long running saga with problems from the very beginning. Sending me off with plates attached illegally. They have constantly failed to return phone calls etc. It is ad business practice. As for swinging by the dealer, they are 45minutes in the wrong direction for me. Not ...

Re: Volkswagen Warrington strike again!

So in 12 months of ownership you've never checked under the boot lining to see if the spare wheel and all the accessories are there?? Sorry but that's just poor on your part. I check mine when I pick the car up every time it's in for service etc. And damn made sure it was there on first day of owne...

Volkswagen Warrington strike again!

One year on and they are still causing me grief. Had alloy-tech booked to come today and sort out a scuff on my alloy. Waited in for them all day, then when they did arrive, we found out that a load of the tool kit in the boot was missing, along with the locking-nut key. They put the 18"...
