Re: What now diesel?

Just received a letter from VW stating that my vehicle is affected by this issue (Type EA189 2.0l Diesel engine). And that they are working on a technical solution, ensuring that no immediate action is required and that my car is both safe technically and roadworthy. And they will be in touch when t...

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?

Just returned from a 750+ mile family road trip around Torquay, Dartmouth, Land's End, Brixham, Paignton, Padstow and back to London. There were a good mix of long cruising and really tight twisty country roads, switching between Comfort & Sport modes throughout, scary & amazing. How I did i...

Re: anyone getting bored or losing interest in your roc?

Love the rocco, as to date, it's a car I've really wanted for a long time AND worked my socks off to get one. It's practical, good on fuel, very safe, good power when needed, and a Beautiful design. I love the feeling of stepping inside, admiring the curves and lines of the roc, also seeing other pe...

Re: Winter Cleaning

Hopefully have a break in the weather so I can give the rocco a good wash & hoover, and also might top up the wax protection if there's enough time.

Thanks guys

Winter Cleaning

Hi guys, During this time of the year just wanted to know what's peoples car cleaning routine? - Keep up the regular wash, once a week/month? - Wash when the weather is good, sunny & dry? - Wait until winter is complete and then wash? For me, I like to keep the rocco as clean as possible and was...

Re: 2.0 Misfires and Shell Nitro +

Hi all, My 2.0 Roc had been misfiring and generally lacking in performance for over 6 months and I was getting a bit fed up with it. Changed the sparks, the coils and filters and even bought an ECU reader :) What I never thought about doing was changing fuel! I'd been suckered in by the lego offers...

Good Year Eagle Asymmetric 2 are a good choice, good performance in both wet & dry and low noise.

Re: Anyone know this car?

I recommend doing a HPI check on the vehicle if you're serious about purchasing it. The report will show the vehicles data & history, any outstanding finance, accidents, modifications etc..

Re: Tyres What to choose!

I can recommend the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, they are soft, low noise, and good grip in both wet and dry conditions. I bought a pair earlier this year fitted locally, really good tyres

Facelift Front bumper & Headlights on Pre-facelift Rocco

Guys just seen this on the tube: Pre-facelift rocco with facelift front bumper and headlights added. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CscJrf_KEnk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Very interesting as this proves this can be done, but what's also interesting is that the front bu...

Hi Weiwei, welcome to the forum, very nice mods

I can see that your front bumper has parking sensors installed.

How did you do this? What parts do you need?

Agreed, as the old saying goes "If it's not broken, don't fix it", and the MKIII is a beautiful design.

However will be interesting to see what VW will design when they release the new Scirocco MKIV in 2017.

Re: 2 Facelift Roccos on eBay UK

I'd have to say, not too keen on the bumper updates, they look squarish, much prefer the curves of the original design. Also would rather be without the 3 dials on the inside dash. However I do like the practical updates such as Front Parking sensors, the rear badge tailgate opener, the LED headligh...
